Ayew & Gana FA Probe, Gary Gardner TRANSFER & Watford Disaster Reaction.

All the latest from Aston Villa at B6;

In the spirit of ensuring that not a moment goes by without something happening at Villa Park this term, Jordan Ayew finds himself in a spot of bother with the FA.

The allegation is that he confronted Watford fans at Vicarage Road following our 3-2 injury time defeat.

Ayew is reported to have reacted to a verbal exchange and jumped over the advertising hoardings to settle matters.  At this stage it appears that Adrissa “Gana” Gueye acted as peacemaker and retrived the Ghanain international.

Ayew, who has an increasingly snap temperament, will therefore find himself subject to an FA investigation.

Ayew was most recently banned for 3 games in February after a mindless elbow on West Ham’s Aaron Cresswell.

Gary Gardner Transfer Rumours

Gardner, currently enjoying another loan stint at Nottingham Forest, is being strongly linked to Championship sides Brighton & Burnley.

The perennial loanee has been otherwise plagued by injuries, despite promising loan reports in recent seasons. Gardner has now had spells at Forest, Sheffield Wednesday & Brighton.

It wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility that he will sit tight, monitor the disarray at Villa Park and opt for a newly promoted side.

Whilst Forest remain interested in signing the academy product, the likelihood is now that Villa will opt to retain his services (despite the above) or he will move on permanently for Premier League football.

If you’ve recovered from the disastrous injury time defeat to Watford then it’s time to revisit the game; if only for therapy:

Why did we concede in each half injury time to self destruct?

11 straight defeats…ELEVEN.
