All the latest news, rumour and updates from Villa Park:

Villa are tracking 20 year old Reading winger Aaron Tshibola.  The youngster hasn’t broken through with the Championship side yet, but has caught the eye in a half season loan at Hartlepool.  Villa continue to look for alternative attacking flair, with the possible departure of Carles-Gil & target Tariqe Fosu signing a new deal. No fee or deal has yet been agreed.

Tim Sherwood is also looking to shore up the backline after another season of suspect defending.  A reported £1 million bid for 18 year old Barnsley prospect Mason Holgate, who can play either right back or centre half.  Sherwood has a knack for developing youth, but it remains to be seen whether Holgate would be one for the future rather than thrown into the deep end of a Premier League campaign.

The club reveal their new home & away kits for the 2015/2016 season today, in a media only event hosted by Jim White.  Whilst there isn’t expected to be major changes to the traditional claret and blue home kit, the striking yellow away kit will hark back to away shirts of the 1970′s.

The main talking point has been the exclusion of Fabian Delph from the advanced promotional photos released.  However, it’s fair to say little can be read into this, with equally speculated about Christian Benteke making an appearance.

Idrissa Gueye is all but sealed with Villa waiting on work permit clearance, as reported two days ago.  The requirements for work permits & an explanation of the process can be found here. This isn’t anticipated to be an issue & once the necessary paperwork is completed with the border authorities, the Senegalese international will be unveiled as a Villa player.
