Villa 1-2 Norwich
3.2
Summary
Villa couldn’t manage a thirteenth unbeaten victory, as a much changed side slipped to a 2-1 home defeat to Norwich City.
Whilst Villa didn’t start well and were quickly behind, we enjoyed good spells of play and can be disappointed to have lost the game. Kodjia was tricky, Hourihane creative and Whelan combative.
Despite a number of promising openings, we struggled to fashion or take our chances and were punished with just a few minutes left on the clock.
With Grealish, McGinn, Mings and Abraham not risked, our focus, undoubtedly, is on the playoffs.
