Villa Underground | March 8, 2015 | Match Reports | No Comments All attempts to brand #avfc fans celebrating as “hooliganism” will be defeated through the cunning use of facts over fiction. This was a derby, a key cup tie and the scenes on the pitch were not a return to the “dark days”. They were people celebrating, harmlessly. You will always get a mindless few [they weren’t there by the way], but the vast [vast] majority were happy fans. We do not prescribe to a sanitised clinical stadium or supporters being anaesthetised in their seats. It is Villa Park, our historic home, not a public library. Nor do we condone or want thuggery. We want passionate fans, players… and to be fairly reported by mass media. Up The Villa. Share On FacebookTwitterGoogle+LinkedinShare on Reddit Related Posts Villa lose to United, but what’s new?
