Yes, after an enforced hiatus the Podcast returns!

The latest episode see’s The Villa Underground and My Old Man Said cover a lot of ground in a jam packed 30 minute edition.

FEATURING

David Beckham – Knighthood?  Reaction to those leaked emails and who we would give a “Villa Knighthood” to.

Black Sabbath played their final gig in Birmingham in February.  It also featured a certain custom Tommy Iommi Aston Villa bass guitar…

Waving the white flag for a second consecutive season.  The crash from the Premier League was one thing, but so much money was thrown at getting us back at the first attempt.  What went wrong?

We also look at Dr Tony’s Twitter climbdown from his early season expectations.

The owner set himself incredibly high targets for the season.  Whilst Xia cannot be accused of failing to back either manager, he was focused upon where he wants Aston Villa to be, rather than first acknowledging the issues which lead us to be in The Championship.

We then work through suggestions from Villa fans on how to improve the matchday “experience”.  Suffice to say that adult mascots (full kit wankers), cheerleaders and a ban on swearing provide plenty of discussion.

40+?  Beer belly?  You too can walk hand in hand with Nathan Baker onto the hallowed turf at Villa Park!

And why can’t adults (living in a democracy) drink a beer in their seats at Villa.  Contrast this with watching cricket or rugby & alcohol consumption!

And the lack of Wifi in the ground being a big deal?  It’s a fiery subject for some!

We then cover off recent form, Villa’s meandering season in The Championship, despite the resources, transfer activity and pull.
