Jack Grealish has posted to social media that he has picked up a knock whilst on England Under-21 duty and has been forced to miss training due to a minor knee injury.
Whilst the injury is minor, it would be hoped that former Villa Captain Gareth Southgate will see sense and give Grealish the night off this coming Tuesday, when England U21′s are set to face Norway.
Grealish is, however, expected to be fit for Villa’s important home fixture against Nottingham Forest next weekend at Villa Park.
Grealish suffered terrible second season syndrome at Villa, accumulating a record 17 appearances without a win in our relegation campaign.
However, Jack has been a rejuvenated figure this term, looking a handful for defenders as well as scoring a memorable goal at The Holte End in the 3-0 defeat of Rotherham.
