Established in 2011 – The Villa Underground is an independent Aston Villa supporter social-blog & website.

Life began as a Tumblr blog and later branched out onto Twitter.  Then there was light.

What began as a means of capturing the experience of being an Aston Villa supporter, seemingly aligned to the feelings of many other fans.

Through thin and thinner (in recent seasons), The Villa Underground has documented it all.

The Villa Underground now receives thousands of (welcome) visitors each month, who actively read, discuss and share their views across social media and comments.

Most recently the site has expanded to include a wider presence across social media & a collaborative Villa Podcast.
