A little something to cheer you up ahead of our final game in the Premier League at The Emirates today. What could possibly go wrong?

Zat Knight (2-2) 2008/2009
Not the obvious choice for featuring in memorable Villa goals, but Knight’s powerful equaliser brought Villa level having been 2-0 down, sending Villa Park absolutely nuts.
Antonio Luna (3-1) 2013/2014
Continuing the theme of unlikely goalscoring heroes, Luna completed a rout at The Emirates after Arsenal had succumbed to two penalties and a sending off. His run and goal the only highlight of the Spaniard’s short lived Villa career.
Darren Bent (2-1) 2010/2011
Record signing Bent scored a memorable goal, acrobatically steering the ball into the net, the assist being provided by then loanee Kyle Walker.

Gabby Agbonlahor (2-0) 2008/2009
Demonstrating all of the attributes that we have seen infrequently at Villa, Gabby secured a fine victory, running onto a clearance and finishing in style.

Juan Pablo Angel (1-3) 2004/2005
It might only have been a consolation in a 3-1 drubbing, by a fine move started by Mathieu Berson (yes, remember him!) was completed expertly by Colombian international Juan Pablo Angel.
